In the larger pool of the Indian Ocean category, Mauritius has won 4 major awards, with Trou Aux Biches, a Beachcomber property taking the grand prize of World’s Leading Beach Destination.
Arguably one of the toughest regions to compete in, Mauritius was up against other island world leading island destinations like Seychelles, Maldives, as well as Madagascar and Reunion Island.
