Divine Ile Maurice | Mauritius Tourism Campaign in France
The latest video promotion for Mauritius Tourism in France has been released in an effort to invigorate the islands core tourism market. Of the 300,000 plus tourists to visit the island between January and April 2011, figures show that France contributes to around a third of these numbers, with total European visitors numbering around 230,000. The Australian market during this period sent roughly 4000 passengers.
The video features Mauritius core brand ethics of a refined, luxury tourism destination while showcasing the stunning beaches and relaxed resort lifestyle. Starting 27 November, the promotion will run on Canal + and other satellite channels through until the new year.
Would it inspire you to travel to Mauritius from Australia ? Remember we have great flights from Australia with Air Mauritius departing from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth direct to Mauritius weekly !

Some of our favourite video posts have been from amateur video makers showcasing the islands people as well as Mauritius’ unique multiculturalism. Of course stunning beaches and tropical landscapes are always going to feature when promoting Mauritius.
A look at Le Morne, the south west corner of Mauritius and Mauritius Beaches | A closer look : Hanging with the locals, are two video posts featuring great amateur footage of Mauritius. Hanging with the locals features the action that takes place on the popular beaches on the weekend, and “A Look at Le Morne” showcasing the southwest corner of Mauritius, the stunning beaches and unique mountain landscape.
Of course we cannot go past our favourite amateur ( although it is very professional ) video from Benoit Aubin
